The Smith-machine incline press helps bodybuilders develop the upper portion of their pectoralis major and front deltoid. It is part of weightlifting and powerlifting and is useful in sports since it involves muscles needed for upward pushing, reaching and throwing activities.

Pull-up

The pull-up and chin-up are effective exercises for developing the muscles of the upper back. However, the wider grip used in the former makes it more effective than the latter. The proper way of doing the pull-up is presented.
