Teriparatide or alendronate in glucocorticoid-induced osteoporosis

Article Abstract:

Results from 18-month randomized trial to compare the effects of recombinant teriparatide with those of alendronate for the treatment of patients with osteoporosis who have had long-term exposure to glucocorticoids and are at high risk for fracture is reported.
