The recovery vitamins

Vitamin C may prove to be one of the most essential nutrients for weight lifters, protecting them from a variety of diseases that include heart disorders and cancer. Vitamin C enhances the ability of bodybuilders to recover from physical injuries arising from high-intensity training.

HMB revisited

Article Abstract:

Issues are presented concerning the benefits which a metabolite of the amino acid leucine, known as HMB, can give to bodybuilders. The role played by HMB in decreasing injury to muscle fibers during training is discussed.
