Article Abstract:

The authors record effectiveness of use of disease modifying antirheumatic drugs (DMARDs), examining early use, continuing use, and sequential use for up to 15 years in patients with early rheumatoid arthritis. Of all the varieties of DMARD combinations tried, there was no single DMARD which proved superior to any other, whether measured for effectiveness, toxicity, or any other criteria.
