The new studios building at Cranbrook

Article Abstract:

Canbrook Academy of Art in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, on of the most progressive graduate schools of art in the country plans a loft building to rehouse the three departments, metalsmithing, ceramics and fiber, in need of additional space and improved facilities. The New Studios Building provides 35,000 square feet of studio and support spaces, two galleries and an enviable array of technical equipment on three floors.

Article Abstract:

The Edison National Historic Site is reopening Edison's invention laboratory in which anything remotely connected with the famous inventor is displayed. It is likely that the special bulbs which were earlier found in the ceiling in the new house in Glen Ridge, New Jersey and presumed to be custom made for by Thomas Alva Edison between 1898 and 1902 might be found among the various other exhibits.
