A Christmas dinner in colonial Williamsburg

Recipes for dinners and feasts which families in 18th-century Williamsburg, VA, might have on Christmas Day are presented. People at that time considered Christmas as a solemn religious event as they went to church and had traditional English dinners with their families.

The Christmas Museum

Dave and Judy Murtagh's 18th-century home houses an unconceivable number of holiday decorations. Presently called the American Christmas Museum, the structure celebrates the 19th-century Christmas tradition practiced by Pennsylvania's early German settlers.
