2005 ASTD BEST organizations implement nonlearning solutions

Article Abstract:

An average of 43 percent nonlearning solutions were part of performance improvement programs in 2005 ASTD BEST winning organizations, although learning activities usually make up the majority of performance improvement initiatives in most organizations. The most commonly implemented nonlearning solutions were organizational development, process analysis and talent management, with learning functions like curriculum development, needs assessment and evaluation contributing to the success of the nonlearning initiatives.

Software-as-a-Service (Saas) can be defined as a software that is owned, delivered and managed remotely by one ore more providers. Saas offerings have faster deployment cycles and require very little capital investment.

Autonomy and teamwork in innovative projects

A study examining the two aspects of team autonomy and its influence on teamwork quality, a main factor of team collaboration, is presented. These two aspects are, team-external influence and team-internal equality.
