Performance-related pay in Chinese professional sports
Article Abstract:
A study supporting an expectancy model framework for performance-related pay (PRP) for professional athletes in China is presented. The findings indicate the importance of the valence for monetary incentives, the instrumentality of performance for the incentives and clear individual and group objectives for improving performance.
