Re-conceptualizing voice in the non-union workplace

Article Abstract:

The reconceptualization of voice of employees in a non-union workplace is analyzed, with the factors influencing it and the potential outcomes resulting from external macro market pressures and management strategy towards employee voice. There is a possibility of increase in individualized and company-specific forms of employee voice, posing challenges for traditional collective representation. Details concerning occupational identity and group solidarity, trust and non-union employee voice outcomes are presented.
