Lawyer on call: radio host offers legal answers, advice and an outlet for listeners in 10 cities

Article Abstract:

Lawyer and radio talk-show host Susan Loggans thrives on her blend of careers and competes successfully in 10 cities against the likes of Rush Limbaugh. Her nationally syndicated weekday program, 'Loggans on Law,' usually considers from a legal perspective an issue that affects the public. Much of it is devoted to callers with differing viewpoints, though Loggans also offers legal advice and information. She enjoys the excitement of performing, and considers her viewpoint representative of most Americans'.

In vino veritas: New Mexico lawyer and wine maker is spoiling for a challenge

Albuquerque lawyer Paul Fish enjoys winemaking as an activity that keeps him active and interested outside his office as a partner at Modrall, Sperling, Roehl, Harris & Sisk. He got curious after buying property that held 100 grape vines, and his first batch, made following simple instructions, came out well. Since then he has had good and bad years, and continues to seek new ways to push the boundaries of his skill and of the chemical reactions that make great wine.

Merciful ends: lawyer opens her heart, offers her help and compassion to AIDS patients

Article Abstract:

Sue Christian is a Sacramento, CA, attorney who decided she needed more in her life than handling employment discrimination cases. She wanted a personal and compassionate outlet and turned to the AIDS Foundation's Hand-to-Hand Program. Through the program, she has provided companionship to several people dying of AIDS, including a musician, a pregnant drug addict, and children at an AIDS camp.
