Circles at four: Steve White has gone against the marketing grain by overseeing a radical new on-screen image for Channel 4. But will it cut the mustard with viewers?

Article Abstract:

Steve White is Channel 4's head of presentation and is responsible for the channel's new look. White worked as part of the original C4 launch team, and the aim of the new look was to say something new about the channel as a whole. The new look followed an image audit from Lambie Nairn, a corporate identity and design specialist, which gauged viewers' perceptions of C4 and invited ideas on a possible new look from about a dozen companies.
