Ownership disclosure - new and major change applications

Article Abstract:

The Federal Communications Commission has identified changes in ownership disclosure procedures. Parties to the application must be listed, if they are persons or entities who have the ability to control an applicant. Information on the entities varies according to the business arrangement and the type of business entity that is applying.

Regulatory fees

Article Abstract:

The Federal Communications Commission will increase regulatory fees for common carriers, cable television operators, wireless and broadcast licensees. The fees have been adjusted to reflect the cost of FCC's services. It is expected that fees will be paid in proportion to the population served, and the class of the station.
