The inside edge

Article Abstract:

The chief executive of Chrysalis Radio, Richard Huntingford, is hoping that his format for indie rock and dance will be awarded a regional licence for central Scotland. Huntingford already has radio stations under the name of Heart and Galaxy. He has been expanding his empire into new, profitable markets and the revenue has been increasing by 50% annually. He hopes to attract listeners away from the BBC. Huntingford is wary of investing in digital audio broadcasting.
