"A significant edge in military effectiveness"

Article Abstract:

A US Navy study reveals that nuclear powered aircraft carriers are more effective than conventionally fueled naval carriers. The evaluation shows that nuclear propulsion and gas-turbine propulsion systems have low life-cycle cost. Navy officials also reveal that nuclear powered carriers will attain cost-saving goals and will provide the military a capacity for an effective crisis response, war-fighting and forward presence warships.
