Barco at "Euronaval": From displays to visualization

Article Abstract:

Steven Luys, Director Sales & Marketing International at Barco, reports that the company has moved from a display company to a visualization company, as reflected in its equipment of a complete Command and Control room. He states that networked visualization was the main theme for Barco at the 'Euronaval 2006' exhibition, and Barco is expanding by including land-based army markets to its predominantly naval market.

Barco Vector splits

Article Abstract:

Barco Inc launched a series of flat panel displays called Vector to help users separate the rear video control unit from the actual screen module. Customers can also mount Vector in a suitable location in case of tight space. Vector, which comes in a 10-, 12- and 15-inch selection, offers a color screen that can display information from all manner of sources, such as infrared cameras, NTSC and PAL.
