The organization and tasks of the Polish Naval Aviation (PNA) are interlinked with Naval forces and the Naval Forces has an essential influence on the size, tasks and organization of the PNA. Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW), patrol, reconnaissance and radar surveillance, over-the-horizon targeting (OTHT), search and rescue (SAR), liaison-transport, medical evacuation and pollution control are some of the major tasks performed by the PNA.
