Boeing's SLAM-ER missile approved for LRIP II phase

Article Abstract:

Boeing will start the second low rate production of AGM-84H Standoff Land Attack-Expanded Response (SLAM-ER) cruise missiles for the Navy. The missile will be equipped with Tomahawk planar wings, navigation guidance system and man-in-the-loop data link guidance system. The missile will be fitted in F/A-18C/D Hornet, F/A-18E/F Super Hornet fighter-aircrafts and P-3C Orion patrol planes. The cruise missile will have a titanium warhead that could increase hard target penetration.

Ship weapons: Ballistic missiles

Article Abstract:

Trident I C4 and Trident II D5 are the ballistic missiles carried by the Ohio-class nuclear powered ballistic missile submarines as their range is quite high, which would help it to operate in a larger area. Details and features about RGM-84D Harpoon, an autonomous, all weather, over-the-horizon antiship missile are reviewed.

Air-launched weapons

Article Abstract:

A range of air-launched weapons including cruise missiles, short-range tactical missiles and air-to-air missiles are presented. They include AGM-84D Harpoon, AGM-65 Maverick and AIM-54 Phoenix.
