Legal services support to operational commanders

Article Abstract:

A summary of observations and lessons from Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom (OEF/OIF) judge advocates and infantry commanders is presented. The observations by such officials between 2003 and 2006 reveal that the need for operational law support of ground Combat operations has continued to expand and is required on a consistent basis at the infantry battalion level.

In the black: Some changes are fundamentally flawed

Article Abstract:

Some changes are expected to be made to the Marine Corps Competition in Arms Program (CIAP) and will soon be implemented.
