Flight-test worries

Article Abstract:

The Air Force's aerospace testing establishment's capability, which was once the envy of the world, has begun to suffer from the drift and droop of austerity. Budget constraints have made it impossible for the service to fully modernize the out-of-date facilities and create the kind of testing centers that are required for testing the new F-22 fighter and advanced concepts such as hypersonic propulsion and network-centric warfare.
