Hughes naval and maritime systems: creating synergy in global seapower

Hughes Naval and Maritime Systems was formed by the Hughes Aircraft Co as a business unit to address the changing mission requirements of its surface and undersea naval markets. The unit took advantage of the synergies resulting from the integration of its surface and undersea competencies. It was able to provide for the operational requirements of its naval customers by capitalizing on current fleet assets and offering complete, total system solutions.
