MOWAG rolls out prototype of new light tactical armored vehicle Eagle IV

Article Abstract:

The first prototype of the Eagle IV light armored tactical vehicle, the chassis and automotive systems, having a combat weight of 7.6t, based on the company's latest Duro III 6x6 logistic vehicle was rolled out by MOWAG of Switzerland. MOWAG in an attempt to further increase performance, including enhanced protection against mines and small arms, identified a new vehicle weight in the Duro II transport vehicle.
