'Nothing is impossible if we work together'

Article Abstract:

German Chancellor Gerhard Schroder says that the fight against international terrorism must not be limited to military and police measures and the commitment must help overcome the modernization crisis in many parts of the world, not least the in the Islamic-Arabic countries. Schroder believes that the world can master the challenges of the 21st century only if transatlantic relations, the close ties between Europe, Canada and the US remain intact.

Article Abstract:

The US President George W. Bush speaks about the war on terrorism, the US and the allies have waged on a global scale over the three and half years since the September 11, 2001, terrorist attack on the World Trade Centre and the Pentagon. President Bush further says that the US is pursuing a clear strategy with its allies to achieve victory and its immediate strategy is to eliminate terrorist threat abroad, so that they can be prevented at home.

Los FLANKERs del Presidente: Venezuela receives Su-30MKs and changes South American airpower balance

Article Abstract:

The Venezuelan government asked the U.S. military mission to leave following an aborted coup against him under the belief that the coup was supported and possibly ordered by America. This lead to small frictions and the Bush administration suspended arms sales to Caracas and hence Venezuela turned automatically to Russia for their arms needs including Su-30MKs.
