Quality provider for the Swedish Navy

Article Abstract:

Birgitta Bohlin is the Director General of the Swedish Defense Materiel Administration (FMV), which defines, develops, acquires, supplies, maintains and phases out the materiel systems of the Armed Forces. She is of the opinion that Sweden's defense industry will continue to play an important role as a respected partner in an international context, and the ambition of FMV is to develop and strengthen their international traditions.

SMART-S Mk2 radar makes RDN multi-purpose vessel an air defense specialist

The article presents a brief report on the Royal Danish Navy's SMART-S Mk2 radar. It discusses the HDMS Absalon (L 16) that is given a sensor suite that transforms a multi-purpose vessel into a prime air defense and surface surveillance asset.
