The commander of 2d Platoon, Company H, 2d Battalion, 1st Marines in Vietnam narrates how his platoon successfully countered a group of Viet Cong members with zero casualties from its side. The incident is a proof how new terrain and different enemies call for flexibility and innovative tactics.

The captain and the 'El Cees'

A retired Marine Corps officer remembers his days back in the mid-1970s at Headquarters Marine Corps, where work and basketball went hand in hand. He describes that the guys in MMOA (The Officer Assignment Branch) always had an upper hand and eventually won the HQMC basketball tournament.
