Responsive Space

Article Abstract:

The limitations under which the US Air Force Space Command operates in its efforts to support commanders on the ground could be removed by 2010 if the 'Responsive Space' initiative of the US Air Force is implemented successfully. The goal is to produce a small satellite that could be launched swiftly when required and that would survive long enough to meet the intelligence-surveillance-reconnaissance (IRS) needs of the immediate mission.

Revisionism gone wrong

Article Abstract:

The National air and space museum veered away from its mission to collect, preserve and display historic aircraft Enola Gay, which flew the mission of the bombing of Hiroshima as it was influenced by historians of revisionist persuasion. The revisionists could not tolerate the display of the bomber after a controversy and that too without an antinuclear message attached, in spite of all the protests, the aircraft was exhibited.
