SOCOM introduces beefed-up Polaris all-terrain vehicle

Article Abstract:

The US Special Operations Command (SOCOM) has taken a delivery of around 700 purpose-designed all terrain vehicles (ATVs) under a US$10.282 million contract with Polaris Industries awarded in April 2004. The resulting vehicle, now known as the Sportsman MV7, has advanced features with a speed of above 100 km/hr on a sealed road.
