Article Abstract:

Soltam Systems is attacking the market of r155mm truck-mounted self-propelled howitzers with renewed vigor, bolstered by news of an impending order from the Israel Defense Force (IDF). The company's latest artillery offering is the ATMOS (autonomous truck-mounted system) SPH family, conceived in response to the emergence of a generic requirement for a medium-weight, highly deployable field artillery system, capable of providing direct and general support to any contingency or follow-on maneuver force.
