UK's HERTI UAV programme gathers pace

Article Abstract:

BAE System has announced the completion of a series of trials of its XPA-1B HERTI unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). The XPA-1B HERTI is one of three operational development machines currently in use, and will be joined by a fourth in April 2007, with three more due to join the evaluation fleet by the end of 2007.

UK's Joint Force Harrier takes delivery of first updated GR.9 from BAE Systems

Article Abstract:

The UK's Joint Force Harrier received its first upgraded Harrier GR.9 from the BAE Systems' Warton facility on November 14, 2005. A GBP500 million program will update the avionics of 60Harrier GR.7/7A to GR.9/9A and 11 Harrier T.10 trainers to T.12 configuration.
