Achieving optimal reserve component integration with the active component

Article Abstract:

Issues are presented concerning the definition of the Total Force Policy, Reserve Component Integration Policy and integration training, focus and funding. The total force concept is a success story, articulated by Secretary of Defense Melvin Laird more than 30 years ago.
