The civic failing of Marines and our dependents: Learn to render appropriate honors

Article Abstract:

A retired major of the Marine Corps shares his views on civilians' reaction whenever National Anthem is played. He believes that it is not only important for the Mariners to render respect to the national flag but their spouses or dependents should also be made aware of the code of conduct to be observed when National Anthem is played of at a flag hoisting ceremony.
