UK seeks to align Corax stealth prototype with its plans for future military aircraft

Article Abstract:

The low-key release of images of the UK's first stealth aircraft prototype, Corax indicate that BAE Systems' investment in this technology is being aligned with plans within the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) for the future of military aircraft. Having terminated its plans for a future unmanned combat aircraft, the UK is working closely with the US on Project Churchill, an effort focused on the joint, airborne command and control of unmanned combat air vehicles (UCAVs) from 2015 onwards.
