Embedded training teams

Article Abstract:

The Marines played an integral role in destroying enemy conventional units and are waging continuous counterinsurgency battles. Embedded training teams being sent to Afghanistan and Iraq, it appears that the Marine Corps' approach to establishing the units and the emphasis placed on selecting, training, and employing Marines for them can be significantly improved.
