Martin Fedor, Minister of Defence of the Slovak Republic, gives his views on the current tasks and functions of the Armed Forces of the Slovak Republic. He describes the different challenges and the current status of transformation process of the Slovak Armed Forces to meet voluntary commitments of collective defence and also the special programmes with respect to the global war on terrorism.
