Winning on the information battlefield: Is the story getting out

Article Abstract:

The U.S. seems to be losing the dimension of information in the global war on terrorism (GWOT), with evidence of discrepancy between actual conditions and successes in Iraq by the U.S. military, and the media reports of news in Iraq by national-level U.S. media. The American public should know about the U.S. wins on the battlefield, and in the absence of civilian media, the military public affairs (PA) community should ensure that correct news reports reach the U.S.
