Giant earthquakes of the Pacific Northwest
Article Abstract:
New seismological research indicate that the entire stretch from British Columbia to California, also called Cascadia, may experience violent earthquakes at any moment. Mathematical models predict that the Cascadia coast rests on a locked zone representing a fault area with potential for enormous earthquakes.
