Lost action heroes

Article Abstract:

Comic book publishers are making an attempt to play on the real-life heroes of 9-11, rather than boosting imaginary superheroes. Marvel Comics has published 'Heroes', with proceeds earmarked for the Twin Towers Fund, and Alternative Comics plans a '9-11: Emergency Relief' issue, with proceeds earmarked for the American Red Cross. The promotional material for the upcoming Spider-Man movie, which shows the title character spinning a web between the World Trade Center towers, was immediately pulled out of theaters, and much of the movie will be refilmed.
