'Putin will get away with it.'

Article Abstract:

A personal narrative describing a journalist's experiences of being fired from her job as deputy editor on the Russian magazine, Itogi. When the magazine's publisher, Dmitry Biryukov, became allied with new Russian President Putin, he fired his magazine's entire staff of liberal intellectuals and replaced it with Kremlin-approved staff.

Article Abstract:

The report stated that on April 2004 in Washington, D.C., the NARAL Pro-Choice America 'march action center' hummed like a campaign headquarter on abortion-rights election night. The UCLA found that 55 percent of freshman at more than 400 schools said that abortion should be legal, which was down from 64 percent a decade earlier.

Let's do the hobble: the generation that won't go away

The Baby Boomers born between 1946 and 1964 have had a strong impact on US culture at each of their life stages, and this influence will endure as they become senior citizens. They will continue their tendencies to be active and unpredictable.
