2006 electric output down, revenues up

Article Abstract:

The total electric output in the United States in 2006 dropped by 0.1 percent (or 4,100 gigawatt-hours) compared to 2005, but the total industry revenue increased by 2.4 percent ($9.2 billion). Facts and figures on the U.S. electric power industry's 2006 financial and operational performance are presented.
