There will always be an England

Article Abstract:

The United Kingdom has seen a major change in its social, cultural, and political identity over the last decades. Former Prime Minister John Major played a large role in the transformation by paving the way for current leader Tony Blair. Socially, the country is one of racial calm, and is far more hedonistic than the reserved Britain of the past. The UK's relation to the US, the state of royalty, and the future of the country are discussed.
