Article Abstract:

ORIGIN versions 1.1 and 2.0 are graph drawing computer packages which can be used in data analysis. Their scripting language is user-friendly although a manual should be bought separately. Aside from providing good curve-fitting abilities, the programs can be linked to another application wherein spreadsheets and worksheets are combined. They prove to be an effective tool in producing high-quality graphs from data.
