A drug court process evaluation: methodology and findings

Article Abstract:

A process evaluation for a drug court program in Kentucky is discussed. Information about the program came from 69 different individuals representing 10 different agency perspectives, and results indicated that the program, although relatively new, had been implemented successfully and enjoyed high regard both nationally and locally.

Family role in the reintegration process of recovering drug addicts: A qualitative review of Israeli offenders

Article Abstract:

The family's role in the process of rehabilitation and reintegration of a drug addict is examined. Although the family is generally believed to have a positive effect on the process, low-quality relationships may lead to a negative effect, and hence, role expectations and support mechanisms of family members are discussed.

Race and problem drug use in an English city

Article Abstract:

The impact of drug use within the White community and the impact of the drug-use in Black population is examined. The research is based on a study of problem drug users registered with a London, England drugs project in 2000 and 2001.
