The art critic: first she saw pink; then she saw red; then she saw nothing at all

Article Abstract:

Ralph G. Brancaccio created a sculpture of the letter Y. On the sides, the word `discriminate' appeared along with an inscription that made little sense. The concept was to challenge society's tolerance of human injustice. It was placed in the Ruth Wittenberg Triangle in the Jefferson Market Library garden, Greenwich Village, New York City. It did not take long for graffiti to appear. Before the controversy over its hot pink color and engraving mistake subsided, it was removed, probably due to lack of public support for its purposeless intrusion.

Ambient sexual harassment: an integrated model of antecedents and consequences

Article Abstract:

Any individual who has indirect exposure to sexual harassment is perceived to have been affected as well. Sexual harassment is seen to be particularly destructive to psychological conditions and job satisfaction. The occurrence of indirect and direct sexual harassment is also affected by tolerance within the group of such behavior. Ambient sexual harassment can be integrated into the theoretical sexual-harassment paradigms since these two forms of sexual harassment have similar cause and ends.
