Binge eating disorder and night eating syndrome: psychological and behavioral characteristics

Article Abstract:

Research into the psychological and behavioural features connected with night eating syndrome (NES) and binge eating disorder is presented. It is suggested that NES patients could be a subcategory among the obese. It is possible that a combination of night eating and binging, not night eating alone, is connected with higher levels of state anxiety.
