Economic evaluations and interventions for children and adolescents with mental health problems

Article Abstract:

The economic and sociodemographic trends increase the prevalence rates of mental health problems in children and adolescents and the gap between the need and the delivery. This necessitates the need for more economic evaluations of interventions for such children and adolescents. Changes in social and family expectations, payment schedules, administration and eligibility reduction also influence the prevalence rates. They generate economic insights, data and evaluations demands.
