Implementation of an educational program for children with autism: the case of Kuwait

Article Abstract:

This article discusses health care policy and autism in Kuwait. The author maintains that the care of disabled children is unintegrated and unplanned, and people with autism often suffer a great deal, therefore a separate program, TEACCH (treatment and education of autistic and related communication handicapped children), is being implemented in caring for autistic children.
