Conservative Earnings Approach Is Advised

Article Abstract:

California law allowed two billion dollars worth of investment capital for state chartered banks in January of 1984. This figure would have at least doubled in the next twenty years. Caution is advised for banks considering syndication in real estate. A recent seminar on California Financial Code section 751.3 heard an expert's opinion to the effect that real estate investments could have high risk. A conservation earnings approach is recommended. Overall real estate investments are viewed as positive real estate for some fifty markets, which features some rental rates and average sales prices. 1983 was a transitional year for real estate. Business activity is growing and urban markets are making a comeback.

The fee-based package

Article Abstract:

Fee-based management is a system where money managers handle all of an individual's investment portfolio in exchange for a fee equal to a percentage of the account. Previously only available to institutions, more than $30 billion per year is now invested in fee-based accounts. Fee-based management usually involves several managers, including a financial planner, a financial consultant and an investment manager. Because the planners' fee is based on the account balance, managers are encouraged to make as much money as possible for their clients.

The sleep of reason...

Article Abstract:

Liberalism is becoming more popular as a political approach to argue women's rights under international law. Some feminists argue that liberalism can concentrate too much on the individual and not enough on the social group, and that its views of equality are not tangible or realistic enough for today's society. A powerful feminist argument against liberalism is that male and female attitudes have been shaped by social norms that subordinate women to men.
