Article Abstract:

The 1999 World Congress of the Industrial Development Research Council (IDRC) held in Cannes, France, highlighted the need for maximizing corporate infrastructure resources with the use of information technology and the fusion of human resources. These were among the key points emphasized to European firms as the European single currency market presents different challenges to corporate real estate. Another aspect that was given due importance was the flexibility of firms to adjust to rapid changes in the marketplace.
