Loft in space

Article Abstract:

An influx of American companies and more people buying properties on their own has had a dramatic effect on the residential property market of Nottingham, where estate agents are seeking a rise in the demand for loft conversion properties. The city-centre is the focus of demand, with many being attracted to the exciting evening lifestyle dominated by street cafes, bars and nightclubs. As many buyers have few ties, prices are increasing to meet demand.

In a quandary over size

Article Abstract:

Business facility developers in the towns and surrounding areas of Hertfordshire, England are reporting a growing need for massive warehousing facilities to meet the needs of a growing number of electronic-commerce (e-commerce) firms moving into the area. A lack of land is being blamed for the shortage of super-hugh warehousing sites, although the fairly young market should see more development being built to meet demand.

Streets ahead: the Phoenix Initiative aims to revamp space in Coventry's city centre

Article Abstract:

The Phoenix Initiative in Coventry aims to redevelop much of the north of the city centre. The first stage will be the Millennium Project creating a link between the Cathedral area and the Museum of British Road Transport, in the form of a walkway with garden areas, cafes, shops and housing. There is also renewed interest in the city centre with regard to office space, as out-of-town space disappears.
