Point of divergence

Article Abstract:

Rental prices in Victoria, London, United Kingdom, have reached 38 pounds sterling per square foot because demand outstrips supply. Rents have increased by 20% for two concurrent years and estate agents are confident that the demand will continue for three years. However, some agents are worried that more office space will not be available for a year and this may be too late because the number of enquiries is slowing down. There is a danger of oversupply by the year 2002 if too much restoration work begins in 1998.
