Spain: positioned for prominence

Article Abstract:

The emergence of Spain as the magnet of investments in the European Union stems from the tax reform it effected to qualify for membership in the EU. The tax reform led to a number of economic reforms, such as the liberalization of many industries, that proved attractive to businesses. Spain's economic reforms has resulted in a growth rate of 4%, with the unemployment rate dropping to only 19.5%. Spain's added advantage of a young pool of skilled workers is proving to be one its great attraction to relocation.
